I honestly could not have been more tickled by this little park. This is exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood park. There's a lot to do. You can walk the little trail (just over three times around is a mile). Kids can play on the playground or swing. There are some hoops for basketball. And there's a nice ball field.
I didn't see any stray dogs, but it's certainly a neighborhood full of dogs and we were out of the car only about three seconds before all the neighborhood dogs were barking about our appearance.
The path is nice and wide and there are a few nicely placed benches for people who want to stop and rest. There's a handicapped parking spot and a little ramp up to sidewalk level. About the only place it would be hard to get is close to the ball field.
There's lots of good green grassy area to run around with your dog or to kick a ball around or play tag.
And the whole park is small enough that, if you're a parent, you can easily keep an eye

Timothy Park is a great, family-friendly neighborhood park.
on one kid shooting hoops and another kid on the swings and Grandpa doing slow loops on the path.
The only thing the park is missing is a bathroom of some sort for visitors who can't just run home. All in all, though, I was really delighted by Timothy Park.
