Lamar Talks with Greta About Scott Brown and the Cornhusker Kickback

Posted by Jeff Woods on Fri, Jan 22, 2010 at 10:33 AM

"It's absolutely true that if that bill were to pass in the form it is in now, in Tennessee, we would raise college tuitions and state taxes, except Nebraska wouldn't have to because under the 'cornhusker kickback,' we pay for theirs .... The governor in Tennessee, a Democrat, said this is 'the mother of all unfunded mandates,' and he was verycourageous and specific in pointing out how much it would damage higher educating if they passed the bill."

"damage higher educating"?
That seems to have already occurred.

Seems to have already occurred with you. There is nothing wrong grammatically with the phrase 'higher educating'.

I stopped listening to Lamar sometime ago. He likes to look professorial, like one of the wise men who are supposed to populate the Senate. In reality, he's a bitter a partisan as some of the more obvious ass-monkeys like Jim DeMint of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions of Abababa or Mitch "Somebody Boofooed Me at a Young Age and Scarred Me for Life" McConnell. Remember a few years ago when Lamer! was all gung-ho to outlaw filibusters, which he decried as being against the American Way? Now that the Repubs have used the filibuster 8 times more often than the Dems did, and with a smaller minority than the Dems had, of course Lamer! thinks the filibuster is the greatest thing since sliced bread or the Dept. of Education, which he was in favor of abolishing until he was against it. In his own way, Lamer! has become as much of a soulless whore as Marsha Blackburn.
