Upon rereading, this post may give the impression that I spent my childhood in the Vice Lords, drinking Schlitz beer. For the sake of my mother, who sometimes reads Pith, I just want to clarify that I was only briefly in the Vice Lords, before I moved on to the Girl Scouts.
Back in Cleveland, Ohio, they had an ad campaign, "When you're out of Schlitz, you're out of beer."
Pretty much says it all.
Schlitz not yet in Tennessee. Boo.
Warning to coastal consumers, be careful not to get sand in your Schlitz.
Ashley, when I moved to Tennessee it became apparent the "Ohio" was necessary.
I'm pretty sure the ad campaign for Cleveland, Tennessee had to be a little more stealth. Something like "No, Lee College Kids, Don't DRINK our DELICIOUS AND AWESOME BEER!!! We must insist you not DRINK SCHLITZ BEER. Whatever you do, LEE COLLEGE KIDS, don't DRINK SCHLITZ BEER."
