Not only is this guy a drunken murderer...this TBN charlatan is a closet homosexual who has lived a double life for many years!!! Pastor Steve Galiher is yet another shining example of "Christian broadcasting".
But----he's signed, sealed, delivered, washed in the blood and forgiven. So what if he fucks up now and then. Let the law deal with him and concentrate on folks like Michael Jacko and Paris Hilton. They could use a little thrashing and trashing from time to time (although Jacko now being in his reward probably doesn't give a shit anyway).
I am sorry for the Rhode's family and their loss. This was a tragic accident and one I am sure Pastor Steve is very sorry. I have know Steve for many years and was really close to him at one time. Tammy58, or should I say, Bitter party of one, judgement is reap and sow. Be careful what you say about someone you don't even know. It always comes home to you. You may have young boys in your family so don't be so sure someone won't accuse them of such a thing because of the seed you have sown on the internet. I have been finding it very, very strange that since Pastor Steve Galiher from TBN's Trinity Music City in Nashville TN. got busted in California for DUI/driving drunk and crippling and elderly man that he has been seen regularly on the TBN network. Common practice for TBN in such situations is to totally estrange themselves from the offending party such as they did with Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart. NOT IN THIS CASE!
Now here are the facts....
Pastor Steve Galiher has pleaded guilty to both felony counts brought against him by Orange County CA.
He has not yet been sentenced. This is scheduled to happen on Dec. 18, 2009.
He could receive up to 5 years in the Penitentiary plus a huge fine.
He has brought shame and disgrace upon himself as a minister of the word as well as the TBN network.
These are the facts. NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!
Yet, TBN founder Paul Crouch continues to have him on the air as if nothing ever happened. Pastor Steve Galiher has been seen all this week on the fall/2009 fund raiser...lurking in the shadows. No, he has not been given the mic to preach but he has been all over the set...roaming about. Sort of creepy.
The question is this. Why in the world would Paul crouch be allowing this tarnished/scandalous minister to be seen lurking in the shadows of the fall Praise-A-Thon 2009 as if all was well!? Why would he risk it? Why would he take this chance by associating himself with a man who has lost all respect and authority in the church world?

The reason you saw Steve at the 2009 Praise a Thon, was some of it was reruns from last year. The reason Paul Crouch does not sleep with his wife alot is because they are very often in different parts of the country. There are many things about TBN and some of their personalities I have problems with, that is why I left TBN. But PLEASE stick to the facts!! Gentlemen if I believed what you were saying was true I would be as appalled as you seem to be. I am not a fan of TBN. I have plenty of information concerning many of the personalities of TBN that would discuss you more than you seem to be already. It is my conviction to uplift people in prayer instead of ripping them to shreads. If you choose not to believe the truth, if you do not have discernment from God, then I can't help you. Unless Steve hid his homosexuality from me for over 20 years of close personal association, there is no way he is homosexual. I am not defending his problem with alcohol. I am sooo glad that this deceiver has gotten caught at his nasty game of churchified deception! He has used and abused many in the church since his days in Paducah.
Seriously, you all don't know Steve personally! First of all, I am not one to drink and if I had 2 glasses of red-wine, I would most definitely have blood shot eyes and I would wreak of alcohol. When you aren't a drinker, any amount could cause havoc on you. Steve is not a homosexual. He has an awesome family. I pray that you seriously don't have any children that could possibly go out and get drunk and kill someone via an auto-accident. Steve will have to live with that for the rest of his life and that will be awful for him. I think that we should all feel bad for anyone that decides to drink and drive and have an accident. It's a sad thing but at the same time, we may never know if that will hit our home one day so be very careful what you say. You are not able to be with someone 24/7 and it may happen. I have known Steve my entire life. I was a member of the church where he grew up.
I have never meet one single person who hasn't ever made a bad choice in their life. And I have certainly never meet a saint. You can sit on a church pew for 50 years every Sunday or be a decon or a teacher and that does not make you a perfect christian nor does it give any of you the right to be so malice and hurtful with your words.
I recognize some of you and I am ashamed of the position that you have taken on this issue. Where is your compassion and concern for your fellow man who has lost his way? Someone who needs the support and kindness of the church family to find his way back.
Steve has made an unfortunate and irreversible decision in his life, something he can never take back or change. He will live with his choice and its fallout for the rest of his life, but he can be forgiven. Forgiveness is not by mans hand but by Gods. I no longer attend church, and let me tell you all why.
I was 17 years old when I realized the damage that can be inflicted with words. I was involved with all the local youth camps, I attended a private school and music was my ministry and spiritual passion in church. One bad choice brought all of that to an end. I was 17 when I became pregnant and got married to a man that was not part of the "in group" and from that very moment I was rejected by the very people who had in earlier years called themselves my church family. The very people that claimed to be Christians.The people I had befriended and grown up with were the first ones to turn their back on me. Their were phone calls made by these people to other states to relay my "fall from grace" as it was so described. I never recovered from my choices or the actions of others. I completely lost faith in God and myself. I haven't been in the doors of church in years. That has been another one of my choices, some of those choices I regret and some I wouldn't change. I accept full responsibility for the choices in my life. They are behind me now and I have moved on with my life without christianity as a part of it.
Please take note that what goes around also comes around. The people who chose to talk about my bad choices, have all endured both physical and spiritual issues in their own lives. Some were fixable and some were not.
Please use common sense in what you say or write, the devastating effect your word can have on someone can be irreversible and damaging and in some cases even be fatal to their spirit. Also please remember that words can never be erased or taken back once they have been spoken.

I have knew Steve years ago and we were best friends. I am very sorry this happened and feel for the victims family. It's funny all the bad things people are writing especailly ones that don't know him. If it was O.J. they would be rioting in his defense. Dante Stallworth will probably be playing football this year, but when it's a preacher that has fallen everybody wants to sacrifice him.
