Professor Barry: Please explain the gift of love statement? I can't figure out to whom it was a gift of love: North Nashville or Bellevue or both? What's Marsha running for? Eric Crafton's slot?

Henry is an incumbent. Smart politics for Bredesen to endorse him. He has to work with him.
There is no incumbent in the Dem Primary for gov.

Please explain the gift of love statement?
I guess it sounds better than "gift of resegregation." Otherwise you'll have to ask Marsha.

All such "studies" are nothing more than liberal propaganda, since they are all based on the bogus premise that "fairness" in paying for government services is related to percentages of income rather than the dollar value of actual services received by the individual.
McDonalds isn't being "punitive" to lower income customers by charging them the same price for a Big Mac that higher income customers pay. That Big Mac cost is mathematically a higher percentage of the lower income customer's annual earnings than it is for the higher income one. But that, of course, is irrelevant. They both got the same product and they paid the same price for it. And there's nothing at all unfair abou it.

Grumpy?
Nah - I'm having fun knocking the absurd premises that liberalism is based on right out of the park.
