AC Wharton wins in a landslide to become the next mayor of Memphis, replacing Willie Herenton. (Herenton stepped down amid controversy to run for Congress against Rep. Steve Cohen, who "really does not think very much of African-Americans.")... Nashville's biggest banks are continuing to lose market share to smaller local and regional competitors, but one big bank reverses the trend. Maybe you've heard of it--Bank of America.... If you're on parole or probation in Tennessee, you can now be searched by police just for the heck of it.... A woman is fatally shot in her Clarksville home....
