Steve McNair's former business partner Raymond White wants to shut down restaurant Gridiron 9 instead of selling McNair's interest in it, according to a motion filed Monday. Gaylord notices some old-fashioned competition at work with a new, publicly financed Marriott hotel (with tons of meeting space) right next to the new downtown convention center, and doesn't like it....That Delta plane going from Seattle to Atlanta that was diverted to Nashville yesterday was because of a 22-year-old dude from Georgia who refused to let the person sitting next to him get up to use the bathroom, saying "his blood would be on her and he was not going to let her leave no matter what happened." ...The H1N1 vaccine is available at the Metro Health Dept., and so far only 523 have taken it....But some healthcare workers and folks at Centennial Hospital are against the nasal flu shot, fearing its ingredients. Well, hallelujah, Nashville is 17th best among 70 cities with populations over a quarter-million for health insurance coverage, whatever that means....I hope you weren't still counting on a cheaper way to get to Los Angeles, because Southwest isn't going to Ontario, Calif., anymore beginning in March.
