On an ingenious, cutting-edge page of her campaign website, Rep. Susan Lynn is stamping out nasty rumors about herself. It's a nifty idea since nasty rumors are certain to abound in her Republican primary race against A.J. McCall to succeed Mae Beavers in the state Senate.
"Campaigns are often full of rumors; 'they say,' 'some say,' 'I'm hearin' are common phrases that may often be used to transact such schemes. Well, this blog is dedicated to spoiling those rumors. We will set the record straight; whether its [sic] the voting record or otherwise."

(We hope she soon will add another web page to set straight her spelling and grammar.)

As an added incentive for everyone to speak only good of Lynn, she cites Proverbs 6:16-19, which observes that the Lord hates a lying tongue, along with haughty eyes, and hands that shed innocent blood.

The campaign's only just begun and, believe it or not, already there are rumors to dispel. False rumor No. 1: "Lynn voted to give illegal aliens driver's licenses." False Rumor No. 2: "Lynn voted to fund Planned Parenthood with taxpayer dollors [sic.]." And worst of all, False Rumor No. 3: "Susan is talking to local Democrats [sic] officials."
