Glenn Beck has spouted some pretty ridiculous garbage over the airwaves unchecked. But what could be referred to as the ultimate system of checks and balances in media is pulling the rug right out from under the deranged, emotionally unstable and weepy talk show host.
According to a NYT story
, advertisers are jumping ship left and right.
ConAgra, Geico, Proctor & Gamble, Progressive insurance, Radio Shack (or The Shack
) and a few deep-pocketed pharmaceuticals are just a few who have either yanked advertising from Beck shows or have pledged to do so.
