From Jackson Baker comes the news that Paul Stanley spoke at a prayer breakfast on the day before he quit the state Senate. An audacious jackass to the end, he admitted his own moral imperfections (just a blemish or two, really) but basically blew it all off by pointing out that every other politician in the world is slimy too.
According to reports from those who were there, Stanley, who was this month's keynote speaker at the breakfast, spoke on the theme that human conduct consistently falls short of Biblical ideals but that it is important all the same to pursue those ideals. The former senator was pressured to resign from the senate following disclosures of a blackmail plot relating to his sexual relationship with a legislative intern. Owning up to his own shortcomings, Stanley reportedly said that politicians as a group are all "only an eighth of an inch from ending up in the newspapers" for this or that moral imperfection.

So "an eighth of an inch" is what got him in trouble? Sounds about right. But c'mon Paul, it's not what you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Sounds like Stanley might have some pictures of a more metaphorical nature to lay out in the public domain.
Oh, do tell, Mistah Stanley...
Who else in the GOP cock-us was using an intern as a state-funded penis pump/personal valet service?

Bitter much, Paul?
If you got something, tell us.
