Tennessee Democratic Party chair Chip Forrester is denouncing radio blowhard Michael DelGiorno for warning Democrats to yank their Obama bumper stickers off their cars.
"Seriously do yourself a favor," DelGiorno said on Super Talk WTN 99.7 this morning. "It will keep you from getting a few No. 1 signs and a lot of filthy looks. It's one thing to be dumb and partisan and destructive to our country. Just take the bumper sticker off, will ya? Cause things could escalate from town hall meetings right to the streets. You don't want to be stuck with that idiot's name on your car. That's the ultimate clunker."
Forrester retorts:
"Mr. DelGiorno has about as much credence on this issue as he did before he was forced to leave Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a defamation suit. He has shown reckless behavior over the airwaves in the past, and he seems to be continuing in that fashion. The owners of the radio station need to seriously reprimand Mr. DelGiorno for his comments. Threats and intimidation have no place in civil discourse, especially when the stakes are so high."
If Forrester starts reacting with outrage to what they say on talk radio, party press secretary Keith Talley will stay so busy he'll never make it to Brandon's in the evening anymore. When Steve Gill talks about Obama now, he mimics hip-hop language. At least we think that's what he's trying to do. That's not racist, is it? There's another press release for you, Talley.

i'm severely disappointed in forrester (but not surprised). why would you even acknowledge someone who with no hint of sarcasm basically called obama hitler.
i have my own form of torture that i subject myself to on rare occasion- listening to mr. delgiorno. i do it just to keep in the loop with the loons. i've almost called in before, but really what is the point? even i realize it would be wasted breath. he has his dwindling choir he preaches to, let him. these are the people bill maher are referencing.

This is just priceless in a city full of people who still have "W" stickers on their cars.

If any of these right-wing loons approaches my heap and attempts to mess with either of the two Obama stickers on it (my private property), they should know that they may come face my handgun-carry permitted S&W which is in easy reach in my console.
I'm sure they are respectful of my private property and my Second Amendment right to defend it?

Ooo... if he is trying to incite the lunatics to yank me out of my car, they should know that I'm also one of those deranged permit holders. Yep, Second Amendment Man just might have an Obama sticker on his car too!

I wouldn't worry, Stella. I think the victim radio audience is mostly composed of shut-ins and guys whose mothers till do their laundry. They're probably more scared of women than they are Mexicans.
