Responding to a Mike Pigott quote that referred to the MP&F flap as bogus and the product of "a couple of disgruntled council members grasping for issues," the Belle Meade Council member blogs:
Gentle reader and constituent, I am not sure what you call asking questions, demanding accountability for government spending, and providing the oversight that one normally would expect from a legislative body. Some apparently call that being disgruntled. I call it constituent service.

Belle Meade folks just look at public money differently than the rest of us. Theirs is theirs and ours is theirs too.
