Text of the letter just sent from Phil Ryan to Mayor Dean, with one minor editorial addition:
Dear Mayor Dean: I am in receipt of your letter regarding billings from McNeely Pigott & Fox for the Music City Center and have suspended work by the firm indefinitely. Furthermore, I am in total agreement with your plan of action. Last week, after finding out that someone was actually paying attention I directed staff to redouble their review of all bills submitted for payment and reiterated the importance of fiscal oversight. Our goal remains being good stewards of public funds. We look forward to continuing our work with the Department of Finance. Sincerely, Phil Ryan Executive Director
