The Birthers are Right

Posted by Betsy Phillips on Mon, Jul 27, 2009 at 1:06 PM

Oh, sure, if you listen to the likes of Jeff Woods or Caleb Hannan, you might believe that the official Pith position is that anyone who believes that Obama wasn't born in the United States is embarrassing our whole country, at least a little bit.

But that's only because Woods and Hannan and their ilk haven't seen this irrefutable, genius evidence.

Best part?

In other words, Obama's Cap and Trade Agenda will directly lead to Fimbulvetr. As no real American would sponsor legislation that would lead to the Twilight of the Gods, it was necessary for Loki to use his powers to make Obama appear to be an American citizen so that Obama's election to the Presidency would be assured.

Although, as a good heathen, I have to say that I resent the fact that God is allowed to interfere in American history all He wants, but let Loki set up one fake president in order to bring about the end of the world and that's a problem.

Thank you Nashville Scene for finally seeing THE TRUTH!!!!! This reminds me of the time I won an Oswald at the convention in Duluth, MN. This is a major award given at the yearly conspiracy conventions. I uncovered evidence that Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was murdered by President Clinton. Cobain had found out that Clinton was having an affair with Courtney Love and was murdered before he went public with it. It's now common knowledge, just like the Obama birth controversy.

It's kinda funny, you know, that the people they refer to as the "birthers" are the same ones who, by and large, aren't hacking their unborn children into little pieces in an agonizing death before sucking the leftovers out of some clown-car of a crotch. That works out in an ironic way. Thanks Loki.

I think that Richard is being extremely harsh. Most people who are pro-life profess some kind of religious belief, especially evangelical christians, and I don't believe that is the attitude that they want to project to people who are not christians. Perhaps if Richard had given this more thought he wouldn't have commented so vehemently.

I doubt it, Mark. There's a certain strain of anti-abortion person who's just in it for the torture porn. You can recognize them by their ability to turn any conversation into an enthusiastic retelling of babies being hacked up.
The rest of the world, on both sides of the abortion debate, tend not to sit around being all "Oh, gosh, I cannot wait to get a chance to talk about hacked up babies again!" Because we don't have that weird baby-hacking torture porn fetish.
You and I look at that comment and are like "Wow, why would a person make a comment like that, so graphic and completely out of context, that doesn't contribute anything to the conversation?" but we should understand that he finds it gratifying to tell and read those kinds of things and feel sorry for him that he doesn't get that he's revealing himself as a nut-job pervert.

I think some believe that exposing the gruesome details will somehow dissuade others from getting abortions, or scare us into changing public opinion/law concerning abortion. I also think you have a point about people devolving into a perverted state of mind concerning the images. Anytime someone tries their hardest to be bombastic or disgusting to prove a point, the point is dulled by the assault on the senses. Extremism of this nature is counter-productive.
