"Chip's obsession with Robin Smith and her success as chairman of the TRP is nothing new. We're used to the entertainment value of watching him flail about hysterically. He's spent six months as a miserable failure at trying to explain the inability of Democrats to come up with a message that connects with the voters of Tennessee. It is sad to see that he's now lowered himself to peddling his wares on interview shows that resemble a Saturday Night Live skit. Embarrassing himself on a program like that says more about Chip than anything he said about Robin."

I don't know...I think Chip was onto something. He's probably not the best spokesperson for the job, but he's not wrong about this woman. She is Marsha Blackburn in a slightly more frumpy package. Does TN really need more of her kind? We are so well regarded in the nation now thanks to her kind....NOT! We have become the new Mississippi! Time to send these dames packing.

We've still got more than a year before this election. If this is how she's reacting to someone calling out her record now, she'll have at least one good crack-up before this is all said and done.
Agreed, GoldnI, but the crack-up(s) will just endear her to the base. It will be proof the she's been relentlessly victimized by the liberal media, and she can be a martyr like Sarah Palin.
To make the comparison work even better for GOP base voters in Tennessee, maybe Robin could fly around in a helicopter with her rifle and hunt black people.
