Breaking News / Kotz / Law and Order / Sports McNair Case: A Little More Evidence for Murder-Suicide

Though this is just educated speculation, it would appear to be further evidence of a murder-suicide: Young woman believes she's about to move in with former quarterback. But former quarterback isn't actually getting a divorce, and decides he might have run the old I'm-Going-To-Leave-My-Wife string just a bit too long, since his mistress is selling all her furniture. So he decides to come clean. This couldn't have been a pretty conversation.
Either way, we may get a final police ruling today. Chief Ronal Serpas has scheduled a press conference for 2:45. And chiefs, being the boss and all, usually don't decide to headline press conferences unless there's a significant breakthrough to unveil.

I looked at my Scene today and found nothing about the murder anywhere in it. Does the print edition not give a shit about the biggest story of the year? First, you run a wire piece (about craiglist and sex) as your main article two months ago and now you ignore a compelling and Coen Brothers-like murder story. To be blunt, the Scene sucks now.
Guys, if you can't find a picture of Serpas in a Nashville police uniform, you didn't look very hard. He may be in more photos than anyone else in Nashville.
A little local flavor please? And if you didn't recognize that wasn't a Nashville uniform, shame on you.
Kiss where the sun don't shine Bubba. What kind of uniform that money gathering sumbitch wears while collecting up is inconsequential to me. And at least the press conference et. al. today indicates an interruption, for a little while at least, his daily devotion session with the handy desk calculator.
