The National Republican Congressional Committee is up with ads hitting Democrats, including Bart Gordon, for voting for the energy bill. It also slaps President's Obama for saying during the '08 campaign that electric rates would "skyrocket" under his cap-and-trade proposal. It's the first Republican Party ad attacking Obama since the election. Gordon is among a lucky 13 Democrats on a hit list for radio ads, phone calls and Web ads.

Obama is keepin his promise. Except his 250k was measured in 250k Norway Kroner!
Here's the math:
250,000 Norway Kroner = 40,070 USD as of the time of this posting.
So Obama is going to keep his promise.
