Liberadio(!) is kicking off its new show on Blog Talk Radio even as we speak, and it's a rollicking debut. Fair election activist Bernie Ellis basically just accused Secretary of State Tre Hargett of trying to turn the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation into his own little secret police force.
"I've had a number of lawmen call me since this became public. And to a person they have told me, 'The TBI does not want to become Secretary of State's Hargett's KGB or Gestapo.' That's not why they got involved in law enforcement in Tennessee.""Political intimidation," Ellis says, "that's what this was all about." In case you missed Ellis' story, read about it here.
