Politics / Woods What? Democrats Trash Democrats on the Democratic Party Blog

The Tennessee Democratic Party is engaged in an interesting experiment in democracy. The party has started a blog, and they're a little loosey goosey on posting privileges. Type in a phone number and email address, and you're good to go. Does anyone else think this might create problems for Democrats? Already, we have a blogger named Captain Kong who wonders why more Democrats aren't condemning Republicans for Sherri Goforth's email. That's an uncomfortable question, isn't it? Kong seems to think the party has fielded a bunch of goobers to run for governor. Kong asks:
..Where is the condemnation from the Democratic Goobernatorial Candidates? Has anyone made any statements? Cammack? Herron said "Secondly, we have shown the world that some in state government find racism amusing." While addressing the floor. At least it's something. Nothing from McWherter. Others? What about Cooper, Gordon, Davis, Tanner? Anything?And Roy Herron takes a beating in this report from an obvious Jesus-hating communist Democrat who identified herself as Julie Kornman:
What was the biggest surprise of the night was as I was leaving, 2 young men supporting Herron tried to give ma a book called "God and politics"....I'm not sure if that was the exact title, but it's close. I said, "No thank you - I don't believe that anything that has church and state in the same sentence belongs anywhere near politics." They appeared a bit stunned and had no response. WOW - I saw first hand what some have said on this site - Roy Herron may just be a Rep. preacher in Dem clothing??? Otherwise, kudos to the entire Hickman County Dem group for a very successful, enjoyable evening!
