The bloggers at Chattarati are running a contest: Write the best caption for the above picture of Zach Wamp on the Washington Nationals scoreboard and win a $15 gift card iTunes Store. Here are a few potential winners:
"Registered offender in Section C, Row 7."
"Third baseman Zach Wamp was recently called up to the Nationals from their newest farm team, the Chattanooga Cokeouts."
And Pith's personal favorite:
"This isn't the first time I've been lit up between a Miller Lite and some Coke."

First of all, "Registered offender in Section C, Row 7" doesn't even make sense to me. Wamp was PLAYING in a game on the field, not in the stands watching. Second of all, Wamp was playing SHORT STOP, not third base. And lastly, people have been making "coke" jokes about Wamp sense 1992 when he first ran. Those jokes are old and tasteless, after 17 years I would have thought people could have come up with something better.
