After flirting with double digits over the past few months, Tennessee has finally broken through. Unemployment in the state rose to 10.7 percent last month, jumping nearly a point above April, and leaping more than a point over the 9.4 percent national average.

If the legislature had spent it's time trying to "fix" the economy, the unemployment rate would probably be 20% by now instead of a little over 10%.
