Hey Tweeters!! Stand up against racists in public office and join the movement by RT'ing #firesherrigoforth. Sure she might just be a "festering wound" but let's make an important statement "in her honor".
Thanks in advance!
ZERO TOLERANCE.
Goforth should be fired. Senator Black should be voted out during the next election. That will help drag Tennessee into the 21st Century.
Fired???my gosh, that would be an understatement!!!
She is the lowest of the LOW.
You are a BRAINLESS,stupid, uncivilized woman goforth,Shame on your poor parents that they created such an ugly creature.
There is a more civilize punishment for you.
What goes around comes around.
Migrate to pakistan please goforth. You are nothing do you hear me???Maybe you are a family of Palin huh????
She should definitely be reprimanded in the strongest possible way, but not fired nor prosecuted. If African-American thugs are legally permitted to commit voter coercion in order to elect Barack Obama, then sending an immature e-mail should also be permitted, however stupid it may be. At least people can delete the e-mail and forget about it. Nobody could avoid nor ignore those jackasses swinging clubs and shouting reverse racist remarks. Apparently what they did was okay.

I understand humor. Not many things have as many different styles as humor does. What one finds funny another finds offensive. This is true of all styles of humor.
That aside, Ms. Goforth's actions leave me bewildered. She had every right as an American citizen to find the photo she forwarded funny (it's a free country). But, she also should understand that working for a state senator is reason enough not to even think about forwarding a photo like the one she did.
She messed up big time, she may not think so, but she did. Should she be fired ? If she doesn't come up with a better apology than what she's offered so far, YES.
George. Nobody is denying that she used incredibly poor judgment. I agree with you. If she's going to be fired, it should be for misuse of office e-mail...not because the race activists want her fired. A firing should be up to the manager/supervisor, NOT anyone else.
