Wait until you have a daughter and see how you react

I would like to know what the reaction would have been if:
Instead this was said by man named Libmaugh
And instead of Palin.. the names were Michelle and Sasha Obama used in the statement.

I would like to know the reaction if:
This was said by Limbaugh about Michelle and Sasha Obama.

I wonder if she includes Rush Limbaugh's near-daily transgressions in her benchmarking for where we are as a society. Mr. "feminazi" himself isn't exactly doing a lot for young girls' self esteem. I guess since he's not "liberal media," he's okay.

I think his jokes went over the line (including the slutty stewardess one about her). You generally shouldn't make jokes about politicians' kids, even though the Palins also crossed a line by intentionally putting their poor daughter in the national spotlight.
But let's be clear. Letterman was never talking about Palin's 14-year-old daughter. He never mentioned her by name or age. There was no reason to think he was talking about anyone other than the daughter who already was "knocked up." If that wasn't clear enough, he made it painfully explicit in his follow-up statement on his show. The interviewer reminded Palin of this, and yet she persisted in this fiction about statutory rape and contrived the idea that Letterman had needed two days to concoct a lie about not targeting the younger girl.
Sarah Palin has a long rap sheet when it comes to lying and delusions.
If you don't believe it, go up there yourself, where you can hear her on a daily basis, and wait with her and the other elect for the rapture.

It was bad writing and poor research. The older daughter was not at the game. The daughter who went to the Yankees game was the 14 year old. Who else would the Palins think he was talking about? I would have reacted the same way if anyone had make a tasteless joke about my 14 year old daughter. Would he even consider making a joke about the Obama girls? They still have their teens to live out in public view. Either way, why make a tasteless joke even about an 18 year old's being knocked up?
Wasn't the mother of Letterman's son unmarried and "knocked up" at the time of his son's birth?

The best thing Sarah Palin could do for herself, her family and the world is shut the fuck up. Everytime she opens her mouth, our GNP goes down.
That said, I hope the Retardlicans nominate her in 2012.

Sarah Palin, the 2009 spokesperson for political correctness.
I suppose that now she will retroactively rebuke me for putting Chelsie Clinton's face on a dog all of those years ago.

Whatever flimsy grounds Palin had to stand on she lost when her spokesperson pretty much implied (totally illogically) Letterman is a pedophile. Then, typically, Palin denies that's what the statement implied.
The whole thing was ginned up by a right-wing talk show host and inflamed by Fox News. What a surprise.

I thought it was lazy and sloppy of him to say and a poor idea anyway. But it sure is getting a lot of people to tune in and follow the saga during Conan's second week. Hate that for him and his ratings at a time where he's trying to find his stride. Makes you wonder if it was deliberate.

"Gov. Palin announced over the weekend that her 17-year-old unmarried daughter is five months pregnant. And you thought John Edwards was in trouble before! Now he has really done it."

Sarah is like Kim Jong Il. If she's out of the headlines for too long, she has to find a way to make people pay attention to her.

Sarah needs to learn deep breathing excercises and to be advised, Letterman is respected by more people than she because he is a LATE NIGHT messenger of the truth.

Pore old Sarah. So misjudged and maligned.
She ran a vice-presidential campaign based on lies and innuedo. She craved the national spotlight so much she put her own children on display no matter what the outcome. Now she wants to yell "foul." Sorry, Sarah, you are no better than any other reality TV show promoting a phony image of your family. So, why not take care of your brood and stop it, already, with the winkin and blinkin. You are not cute, or funny, or even real. Protect your children by telling the truth and acting like a real governor instead of some kind of outdated beauty pageant hasbeen, which is actually what you are.
