Planet Bill Hobbs Whirls Off Into New Orbit

 • Bye bye Bill Hobbs
It's as if the inmates were given control of the asylum for a while, but now the authorities have thought better of it and ended that little experiment. Things were getting weird, it's true, but it's better now. Chris Devaney has become the new state GOP chair, and he knew what to make his first order of business. As Adam Kleinheider reports, Devaney has dispatched the bombastic culture warrior Bill Hobbs. Hobbs had to be the worst flack in the history of Tennessee politics. He actually phoned reporters to harangue them and make absurd demands. Like all far-right kooks, he hates the media. If you're trying to encourage positive coverage, he's not your guy. Ask any reporter what they think about Hobbs, and eyes roll. He couldn't resist the spotlight. That's a mortal sin for any flack. Anytime your communications director is attracting unfavorable press and drawing denunciations from your party's senior elected officials, like when Hobbs attacked Barack Obama as a Muslim loving anti-Semite, something's definitely wrong. Robin Smith couldn't see it because she's as crazy as Hobbs. We're happy to report Devaney seems like a normal human being. That's a starting point anyway. Update: Jackson Baker on why Hobbs is history.

Damn you, Nashville Scene! You cost Hobbs yet another job! Are you happy now?

Screw principles, says the "New" TNGOP. The Squishies are in charge now. Before we know it, Devaney and Haslam will be having sleepovers with Chairgimp Chipper and the Chipinista. White wine spritzers and arugula for everybody!
When do you think they rehabilitate Don Sundquist?
Meet the new boss, Tennessee Republicans, same as the old boss.

Hell yes, Andy, I'm pissed off. The effete cheese eaters have taken over both political parties. Corker, Haslam, and Devaney are Squishies. No principle. Go along to get along.
Sell outs all. Robin Smith had more hair on her nuts than Corker, Haslam, and Devaney put together.

And soon they'll be together in Chattanooga, offending the 3rd District on Robin's behalf...

Well, certain nuts like Stacey Campfield do have quite the enviable set of locks, but Jason Mumpower is balder than Dwight Yoakam under the Stetson.

From a previous B-Ho firing:
"Hobbs got shitcanned because he's an asshole. It's the United States of America. Assholes get shitcanned every day."
Still appropriate.

Does B-Ho have his own line item in the state unemployment statistics? This douchebag can't hold a job for more than a couple of years.

According to Bow Wow's 106 & Park interview, he and Ciara are history and I think who is ciara dating that she may have been the one to end things because he seemed a little bitter about it. I don't know who she is dating now. That photo of her on Nelly's bedside on that Over and Over Again video did cause me to think of the possibility of a relationship between Nelly & Ciara but it was after that that she went public with her relationship with Bow Wow. Yesterday on 106 & Park, Lil Fizz (formerly of B2K) hinted that he would be interested in dating Ciara. Rocsi was sure to call him out on that. Ciara is probably weighing her options and playing it cool right now. She may not be dating anyone.

Avasearch.com is simply a better search engine. It uses Google's algorithms but emphasizes results from the most visited websites.
