Great article! Readers, for more information about what happened at this event, please visit the YouTube video.
In short, the protesters were walking to the protest site when they were confronted by 5 security guards. The members of Anonymous were still about 50 yards from where the Church of Scientology actually had their barrier and permits for the sidewalk. One protester was forcibly thrown to the ground, arrested, taken across the barrier, and cited for aggravated criminal trespassing across the barrier.
Absolute insanity. They attacked him outside of their permit zone, as we all later came to find out.
I still want to know what bologna sandwiches have to do with anything.
Why am I not surprised? Violence from a group which advocates harassment and abuse of former members and critics, the same group who think people who won't join up and be "raised" on their tone-scale should be "disposed of quietly and without sorrow".
Just another typical stunt pulled by the Church[?] of scientology. Is this how a church is suppose to treat it's critics?
I would like to say that I am surprised at such actions but this is just typical operating procedure for scientology. It's disgraceful how this business is allowed to claim that it is an organization of worship when in fact that they only worship the almighty dollar.
Is anything being done about this? I mean those "security" people should be arrested of something. And if the Church of Scientology hired them, then they should be held responsible too. This is outrageous for a Church.
Arrested for walking on a public side walk? Welcome to Scientology-Land. These security thugs should go to jail for assault and false imprisonment.
"It's an instinctual part of man to conquer evil." The battle of good over evil in this world has not changed. It has remained constant throughout the millennia.

Disposed of quietly and without sorrow.
Are these security people there all the time? Why did this happen? The video is very plain and shows that this new church is violent toward protesters. What about people who just don't care at all about scientology? I'm not going to protest them, but what if I have business by their building? This is really scary and I'm creeped out!
ARMED security guards for a "church" meeting
says it all about the CULT
The "Church" of Scientology's founder L Ron Hubbard claims Jesus was a pedophile and that all religions are a farce based on a faulty implant. The teachings of Hubbard, called tech, call for clearing the planet and making his law the only real law. The above video demonstrates his tech.
Scientologists are taught to attack, never defend. The comment section here will soon show that tech, as Scientologist come to once again attack the victims who were exercising their rights as Americans to peaceful demonstration, trying to warn Nashville about the crimes of the Church of Scientology which include human trafficking, forced abortions, child labor and the questionable deaths of many followers.
Educate yourselves Nashville.

This is only where it begins with the Cult of scientology. Scientology Orgs aim to control the area around them, they call them "anchor points". Once they set an anchor point they will seep-out into your community with deceptions and ill intent.
Their intent is bring your community into compliance with Hubbards psycho-babble and the aims of the cult. Their aims are to "clear the planet" under scientology.
In Hollywood, where there is also a "Celebrity Centre", the cult is so possessive of the surrounding area that they denied my family entrance to a local sandwich shop.

Beware Nashville, this is only where it starts with the cult. Do your homework and learn about the real dangers of Scientology.
If you want to see where the assault took place, and which parts of the street was actally closed, look here: http://i41.tinypic.com/160xulu.jpg
8th ave. was closed between Olympic and Vernon, and the "sidewalk closed" sign was there too, so there's no way these guards can pretend that they thought they were doing the right thing. Criminal charges need to be brought.
Nashville Parent: The "Jesus was a pedophile" story comes from a document that was either fake or quickly redacted. What's bad is the bait-and-switch of first saying Scientology is compatible with Christianity, and then in the later levels learning that religions are "engrams" placed there by alien psychiatrists. LRH did say that there was no Christ. That's on tape, and there's no denying it.
This is eerily similar to an attack on protesters in California, outside of Scientology's "secret" compound near Hemet, CA.
Protesters were assaulted by Scientology guards, who claimed they were trespassing. This incident was also captured on camera.

Nashville be wary!this is not an innocent wacky religious organization. It is a dangerous group of people who will become a moral and medical menace to your city.
Their "Clearing the Planet" philosophy may include you.

Is it wrong that I find a religion based on sci-fi novels kind of appealing? I really like sci-fi.
Southern Beale is a worthless hack!
I'm pretty weired out by the Scientology thing but why does a newspaper have links to this low rent blogger?
Well, Southern Beale is at least better than indymedia.
The fact a "church" is willing to hire people just to do this kind of stuff, and much worse (http://www.skeptictank.org/r2-45.htm), should be a very big wakeup call for anyone who has a "church" in their city.
Anonymous members frequently cite "Fair Game" as the reason for wearing those ridiculous masks. This term refers to the Church of Scientology's alleged tactics for handling their critics. However, despite what the critics of the Church profess to believe about "Fair Game," it never actually happens. Without exception, all instances of the Church's supposedly litigious nature can in fact be demonstrated to have been provoked by the very radical extremists themselves.
Being sued by the Church is a badge of honor among these hateful and deceitful activists. In fact, there is NOTHING the Church is reputed to do to their critics which Anonymous hasn't already done to many random and not so random individuals (Do a Google search of Hatch Mckay and Anonymous and see what turns up).
Anonymous is a hypocritical hate group. Members do exactly the types of things they claim the Church does. This is a demonstrable fact, as all non-Anonymous readers of this blog can attest. The true reason they hide behind their masks is because they don't want to be connected to hate crimes, cyber-bullying, and child porn.
Here's a recent thread at one of their sites where members are discussing the fact that "Fair Game" doesn't ever really happen:
http://forums.whyweprotest.net/303-whats-all-about/what-risks-43803/
Another salient fact: thousands of Anonymous members live in places where masked protests are not permitted. Combine this with the dozens of anti-Scientology authors, prominent critics, and various un-anonymous Internet activists, such as Donald "The Angry Gay Pope" Mires and, to any thinking person anyway, there is no reason to believe that there is any danger whatsoever in being a religious bigot with a gripe against Scientology. That is, if one is committed to legal and ethical behavior.
Maxamas brings up a good point with R2-45. What kind of group would authorize the use of shooting someone in the back of the head as a mean to "clear" them? Scientology is a dangerous cult and must be stopped before more die.
A copy of the "Ethics Order" in which L. Ron Hubbard authorizes the use of R2-45 on 12 people can be found here;
http://www.lisamcpherson.org/images/r2-45.jpg
Is this what Nashville wants in its city?
Anti-Scientologists accept most of their anti-religion propaganda on faith, not reason.
This is typical of hate group members, as such organizations recruit the gullible and are ignored by the intelligent.
The hate group Anonymous is known for attacking the religion of Scientology while repeating slogans about protecting free speech. Like the self-policing citizens of George Orwell's 1984, Anonymous has an alarming tendency to prevent free speech from happening among it's own members.
Life under the "Big Brother" system was portrayed as a cruel and micromanaged society. In order to remain "free", the citizens had to engage in psychological "double-think" and semantically-deceitful strategies. Just as the citizens under the watchful gaze of the oppressive all-seeing eye had to remain careful not to express their individuality, Anonymous members must also hide their identities from the omniscient gaze of the collective, acting only within the safe confines of their shared identity.
As I have proved time and time again, "Fair Game" is a myth and Anonymous is a hate group.
The real reason they hide their identities online is because they engage in criminal mischief on a large scale. Essentially, they are mutually blackmailed for their own protection. In public, they wear the masks both to conform to the group, and to evade accountability for the group's illegal activities. It's not a commitment to free speech which binds them together; it's common criminality.
The masks did not originate as a means to hide from the Church of Scientology.
Of course, thanks to their semantic jugging, double-think, double-speak, and overall lemmingistic tendency to believe whatever the group tells them to believe, they see the Guy Fawkes mask as a symbol of individuality and of a shared commitment to freedom.
YOU fair gamed me, Tom, by posting my personal info on your website. How can you deny something that you yourself have done?

Anti-Scientology LIES, rumors, and conspiracy theories should be disregarded. Most of the time, these haters are completely ignored by the media. This is because they don't really have any way of substantiating any of their claims. It's all hearsay, apostate testimony, conspiracy boilerplate, and demagogic fear mongering.
Tom Newton, semi-professional troll. Tom why can't you ever address an issue for what it is? Why must you always mock-up some invalid point?

Poor ol' Tom Newton, no so bright.
"Lydia says:
YOU fair gamed me, Tom, by posting my personal info on your website. How can you deny something that you yourself have done?"
YOU did it to the Kansas City Org. I only got you to make a point, witch:
LYDIA FULTZ of KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI IS A CYBER-STALKER
"...I want to be an overrated celebrity reading a copy of A Seperate Peace in one a them READ posters you see in school liberries when I grow up. I also like run-on sentences..." --Lydia Fultz
Lydia Fultz, known to Anonymous as "Marlysfan" is a rabid anti-Scientologist who has made it her business to dig up whatever information she can find on the parishioners of her local Church of Scientology Org, and make it available for the predators and stalkers within Anonymous to use for their own nefarious ends.
Lydia Fultz is a cyber-stalker, a liar, and a hypocrite. I will be contacting the individuals whom she has placed in harms way, and ensure that they know who put them there. It is my sincerest hope that they take appropriate action against this intolerant, libelous bigot.
In her own words, she claims to be "...quite far from a terrorist-I believe that all critic activities should be safe, peaceful, and legal. What I did was not stalking or terrorism-I was simply posting public information I obtained on the internet..." Which is like saying, "I'm against racism. I just think that people ought to know why blacks should be hated."
Lydia Fultz is a cyber-stalker and a bigot, there is no question about it. And while she claims to not be "Anonymous" she is working hand in glove with the hate group in her efforts to persecute individual Scientologists. For example, other names have just been added to the list which she started:
"Anonymous
We Are Legion
Re: Info on Members of the Kansas City Org
Two other names for KC. No further info.
Michelle Duquette
Jacqueline Lynnette (Jackie) Dodds"
According to Lydia and her Anonymous cohorts, none of this qualifies as cyber-stalking. Just to see if they can live up to their own standards, let's see what they think about this:
Lydia Fultz (816) 531-2150 301 W Armour Blvd,Kansas City, MO 64111
marlysfan@yahoo.com
Formerly wrote for the Spectrum, of Penn Valley Community College, 3201 Southwest Trafficway, Kansas City, MO. 64111 Telephone: (816) 759-4280
Lydia may not be an official flag waving, pedophile-adoring, mask wearing member of Anonymous, but I believe she can still be safely lumped in with the rest of them; while she lacks the overt cowardice which typifies the average Anonymous cyber-terrorist, she does display the requisite contempt for the rights of others.
Tom Newton

The "Anti-Scientology Racket", as it's known to insiders, profits tremendously from media attention. This explains why the most prominent members of the Anti-Scientology movements are failed entertainers. It certainly explains why they would relish an opportunity to hate on a religion known for its celebrity membership.
Most of the time, these haters are completely ignored by the media. This is because they don't really have any way of substantiating any of their claims. It's all hearsay, apostate testimony, conspiracy boilerplate, and demagogic fear mongering.
So every once in a while, whenever a "critic" is experiencing a diminished sense of self-importance, he or she will go get arrested. If you look into their histories, you'll see that getting arrested is both career launching, and career revitalizing for every single one of these purveyors of hate.
This also explains how these "critics" have managed to paint up the Church up as "litigious." For decades these people have been manufacturing a straw man to collectively attack, and profit off of. The term "vampire" comes to mind. Their predation has a cold and calculated quality which I find disturbing. It's like trying to get into the minds of a group of gang-rapists---they don't care how much harm they do, so long as they "get some".
Mark Bunker provoked his own arrest by pointing his camera in the face of an arresting officer, and insultingly insinuating that the officer was "...in the pockets of Scientology" as another protester was being apprehended. I will not name the other one who was arrested because I don't want to help his career.
In the case of "Anon-Orange" it was determined that he provoked an arrest by both yelling "FUCK YOU" repeatedly to security guards (this was caught on film), and also by biting the security guard making the citizen's arrest.
Tommy Gorman attempted to provoke fights with Scientologists, both online and in the streets. He and his wife Jennifer, in a recent attempt at getting the attention of Anonymous, trashed their mobile home and attempted to blame the Church of Scientology for it. He has not been arrested, and therefore, you probably don't know who he is.
The failed comedian and Anonymous hate group leader Donald "the Angry Gay Pope" Myers started sexually harassing parishioners, both male and female, until he was served a restraining order. His newly found Internet fame has landed him a poorly conceived website (with a donation button) and a career as a full time "Anonymous" member.
Stu Wyatt, a very violent Anti-Scientology activist and all around sleaze, cemented his place as an icon to Anti-Scientology activists everywhere by getting arrested in the midst of generating a great deal of drama when he started videotaping his verbal abuse of Scientology staff members. Although to be fair, he didn't get himself arrested--I was behind that. It did, however, boost his popularity. I called him a sleaze because, as I documented before, Stu tried to use his e-fame to seduce a minor. I do recall feeling a little bit remorseful after placing the anonymous tip off to the local police that Stu was hoarding lots of marijuana in his flat, but his actions towards that innocent girl provided all the justification I needed.
The very disingenuous Captain Adderal stalks female parishioners and combines the resultant footage with pornographically themed video footage, posting the horrendous results on the Internet. His most famous one entitled "Scilon Lesbians: Disconnected from Love", included the unwitting participation of female employees of the Citizens Commission for Human Right's headquarters. He wears a Guy Fawkes mask, attends Anonymous protests, and regularly visits Anonymous websites, yet, despite all of this, he maintains that he is not a member of Anonymous. The Captain hasn't seen the inside of a prison cell yet, but I'm working on it.....
"Epic Nose Guy" was arrested after refusing to comply with the officers overseeing the protest/ hate rally he attended. He brandished a sign with the word "CULT", even after the police told the protesters that the Church members found that epithet offensive and misleading. You can learn more about Epic Nose Guy by going to www.epicnoseguy.com and searching the archives.
Early in her Anti-Scientology career, Tory Magoo had herself arrested at a picket. It was a defining moment for her and, as a Public Relations expert for over 20 years, she probably understood the power of negative publicity better than any of the others.
This is not an attempt at a comprehensive overview of all of the arrests, nor of all the major media events generated by the Anti-Scientology Racket, but these are some of the clearest examples of activists becoming nuisances in order to become martyrs. It's a brilliant, albeit dishonest tactic.
But what else would you expect from a network of con-artists and wannabes?
Tom Newton
I would like the readers to note that Mr. Newton is a Scientologist himself, and that he spends the day doing this, all across the internet. Just copy a bit of his post and paste it into google. See how many responses show up. He's gotten into full-on troll mode, making one post, copying it, and spamming it wherever he can.
Mr. Newton's post, if you pay attention, doesn't even fit in with this story. The story is about an Anonymous protester being assaulted by security guards hired by the Church of Scientology. As of this posting, Mr. Newton has yet to acknowledge that. His information is uncredited, incredulous, and should be disregarded as nothing more than one man's brainwashed, cultist activities.
Also, do not go to his website. It's full of spyware and viruses. He routinely documents Anonymous protesters' real names, addresses, and other private information, in an attempt to draw attack to them. He's low level scum and he really isn't worth the response that I've written.
A NOTE ON THE ANTI-SCIENTOLOGISTS:
They want the public to view the Church of Scientology as an evil totalitarian organization which will stop at nothing to silence its critics.
What I have uncovered is nothing less than a conspiracy. The "Old Guard" anti-Scientology activists specifically planned to defame Scientology by provoking events like the one which resulted in the arrest of "Anon-Orange".
It's simple. They provoke, and they film. Then, they selectively edit the video footage and spread it around the Internet. They do this knowing that the mainstream press doesn't care, and therefore, only Anonymous' perspective will be popularized.
This tactic has paid off. Hundreds, if not thousands of Anonymous members actually believe that what happened to Anon-Orange was an injustice, which they take as indicative of Scientology's supposed "bad treatment of critics".
They in turn pass their paranoia on to the public.
This accumulated propaganda lends credence to the existing negative stereotypes which these "activists" are constantly parroting. It's an ugly cycle, and I hope the arrest of Anon-Orange is enough to expose these methodologies for what they are: a concerted attempt to defame and scapegoat Scientologists.
WHT THE ANTI-SCIENTOLOGISTS PROVOKE THESE CONFRONTATIONS WITH SECURITY GUARDS?
Anonymous is not protesting the Church of Scientology.
They're too busy persecuting individual Scientologists. They utilize fighting words to elicit angry responses from their targets.
These responses are video-taped and selectively edited for the sole purpose of creating stereotypes.
These stereotypes can be seen reinforced on all of Anonymous' activism websites.
I'd like to remind someone that anonymous simply means "Un-named" So like If you're filling out a comment or something, and you don't feel like leaving your name, then you're just anonymous... Does that make you suddenly look at Child porn? No, Because as a whole, anonymous is everyone, if they so choose to be, Now why would someone who wishes not to be identified go one step farther and put a mask on? hmmm....
because.. he...um...or she, ...um, doesn't want to be identified? to remain anonymous?
what's the problem? Should everyone be on microchip file and always be followed? Should we ban halloween?
grow up, sir... or at least get some thumbs.
Though It just occurred to me that Tom Newton has the face of a Public Affairs Representative for the Church. anonymous is just anonymous.. Just to clarify my last point.
Tom you're a stalker. You threatened my wife last summer. And just recently you posted pictures of my 3 young daughters on your hate-blog .You indicated that you now have their ID's. Why are you stalking mt family, what are you scared of Tom?

You represent the weakest on this planet, little minds, frail and narrow.
ANONYMOUS IS A HATE GROUP. THE TRUTH ABOUT ANONYMOUS:
Anonymous members can be real tough when they're banded together and disguised as superheros....
...but take away that security, and they fall apart like typical bullies. I have been called names, reported to the FBI, threatened with violence, and maligned so vehemently you would think that I was some kind of terrorist. All of this by a cyber-bully network known for driving the mentally unstable to suicide, sending seizure inducing animated graphics to epilepsy patients, ordering gay porn for teenagers, sexually harassing clergy via telephone, sending bomb threats, coordinating racist hate attacks against hip hop websites, fetishizing pedophile cultural icons, and generally bullying their perceived enemies into submission.
I hope they really do send the FBI. I'll turn this whole thing around and bury the whole "Anonymous" collective in it's own filth. All it will take is five minutes. The truth is, Anonymous will never be accepted by mainstream society as anything other than what it is: an angsty, Left-tarded, ignorant Internet mob that equates free speech activism with shouting profanities and gawking at simulated child porn. I'd be happy to make law enforcement more familiar with my perspective on the hate group.
So go ahead, Anonymous. Send the police! I'm sure they'll really care about the plight of a few butt-hurt self-described vigilantes...
It was a horrible event, I'm glad that the Nashville legal system is working to correct the abuse inflected on peaceful protesters. Freedom of religion doesn't trump another's freedom of speech, and freedom of religion doesn't put you above the laws of this country. Assault and harassment are illegal, though not shocking behavior from this cult.
You will note how most of Tom Newton's examples are about people who were aither arrested or cited and then the charges against them were dropped and didn't make it to court because no crime was committed. Do you understand the concept? Stu Wyatt wasn't violent, charges for assault were dropped. Charges against "Epic Nose Guy" were dropped because there was no crime. etc. etc. Same as the case in the video.
Have you watched it yet?
As for the AnonOrange case, which has not been dropped and is going before a court, how could AnonOrange provoke somebody to arrest them by biting them during the arrest? Is AnonOrange a time traveling Operating Thetan Kha-Khan Fabian or something? (And by the way we don't know if he did bite them or not.)
Tom Newton's desperate posts shows how terribly desperate the cult is in covering up it's criminal activity. He's just clogging up the real conversation with non-pertinent, hateful bile. The proof is in this video and many more of them. Scientology is full of bullies like this Tom Newton guy. I just drove through Clearwater FL. yesterday, the Scientology mecca, and it's a ghost town full of closed store fronts with the occasional Scientology drone wandering aimlessly. You do not want the cult to get a hold in your town. It's a dangerous cult primarily concerned with gaining money and power no matter the cost to it's members or it's community. L Ron Hubbard was a mad man.
How much does the cult pay you for derailing every topic you can find on them, Tom?
Care to comment on these atrocities?

So Tom, you're an insider? An operative for the cult.
Tom your OSA-approved copy/pasta is old. Can't you think for yourself? You need new material that is well thought out, original ideas flowing with free-thought.
If you watch the video you'll discover it has nothing to do with what you're saying. You look crazy, .....well, you ARE crazy.
Tom, you mocked it all up.
I'm not sure that I understand all these posts by Mr. Newton, but I have not yet lost the function of my own eyesight, and I can see with my own eyes what that video shows.
"selectively edited" ??
well well, it looks as if a certain duplicitous criminal organization posing as a religion is in damage control mode.
Little late Scilons. The video is all over the net. People of Nashville and around the world are seeing with their own eyes how you bully and brutalize people. You never learn. You didn't learn at Hemet, which led to a 10 part investigatie report from KESQ (and the investigation is continuing btw) and you didn't learn here.
Tom you can post the same transparent tripe a million times over and it won't make a bit of difference. People KNOW what this video shows. And the circling of the drain continues for $cientology.
"This is typical of hate group members, as such organizations recruit the gullible and are ignored by the intelligent."
Yeah, would love to hear about your education then, if you would like to get into the argument of "I R MOAR INTELLIGENTILE THAN THE MASKED BADDIES!". With Documentation. Because I know MANY Anons, despite not being one myself, who can, will, and already have on previous occasions wiped the floor with the pointless arguments you spout. And heres the kicker. None of them have felt the need to brag about it online by spamming the same posts thousands of times.
Oh, and the malware on your site is so bloody obvious you might as well announce it, given the fact that even McAfee now points it out.
Fact: Scientology is the only church were current or former members are not allowed to criticize the "religion".
Fact: Scientology is the only church that hires armed goons to rough up protesters.
Fact: Nashville residents had better asked themselves what kind of UFO cult is now operating in their city.
I forgot my medication. :( I get cranky when I don't take it, I really am a teddy bear when not spouting out hate-filled lies about people.
"All of this by a cyber-bully network known for driving the mentally unstable to suicide, sending seizure inducing animated graphics to epilepsy patients, ordering gay porn for teenagers, sexually harassing clergy via telephone, sending bomb threats, coordinating racist hate attacks against hip hop websites, fetishizing pedophile cultural icons, and generally bullying their perceived enemies into submission."
You know what I love about you Tom? It's that you say that anonymous is responsible for this stuff, but the FBI has said we are not. All that they could prove was that someone did it. A few said they were anonymous, but could not prove they were in anonymous. We have proof against Scientology not just via internet, but from writings from the founder and the United States government court cases. Now to wait for a straight reply (which I believe I will never get)
"The truth is, $cientology will never be accepted by mainstream society"
Fixed it for ya Tom.
Oh, and you're about to find out how much the police do care about your Mafia like bullying, brutality and assaults.
To anyone planning to visit Nashville, you should probably be very careful and not get too close to the $cientology "org". If you are mistaken for a peaceful protester you may get the same treatment from the cult goons.
Aww, poor Tom Newton. I wonder what crimes you're really covering up.
After all, L Ron Hubbard was a wife-beating bigamist, and David Miscavige regularly physically assaults his most loyal staff at Scientology's "Gold Base" in Hemet, California.
Thus far, Scientologists seem to have a habit of projecting their own sins on to other people. Perhaps assuming that everyone else is as much of a scumbag as they have become?

ANONYMOUS MAKING MORE DEATH THREATS
An Anonymous member going by the moniker Zodiac-Platonic has been sending cryptic death threats to Scientologists in Fairfield, Connecticut. In one of his letters, he makes references to "The Most Dangerous Game," which is also said to have been an inspiration to the Zodiac Killer:
"...i like killing people because it is so much fun it is more fun than killing wild game..."
"...it is even better than getting your rocks off with a girl...when I die I will be reborn in paradise and all the I have killed will become my slaves..."
"...I will not give you my name because you will try to sloi down or atop my collecting of slaves for my afterlife ebeo riet emeth hpiti..."
This is not the first time an Anonymous member has made death threats, nor will it be the last. Death threats are a standard part of their modus operandi
