Politics / Woods Blackburn Announces She's Against Everything

In yet another sign of Republican irrelevance in Washington ... oh wait, I used that clause on my last post. Well, the story this time is that not one House Republican voted today for $3.4 trillion budget resolution. It passed anyway on a 233-193 vote. Predictably, Congress"man" Marsha Blackburn is very cranky about the whole deal. If anyone cares (and no one does) she's already declaring the Obama stimulus has failed.
"My constituents see big government's promises for what they are; empty. Clearly the spending binge has not helped the economy. Credit markets are still tight, jobs are still scarce and more and more of the family budget is being sent to Washington. It's like Washington is siphoning everyone's gas tank in the hopes that it will make your commute easier. This spending is financed by our children's future freedom and opportunity. That is a high price to pay for such mediocre results."
