Legislature / Woods Yet Another Handgun Permit Holder Gets Drunk and Makes Threats, Police Say

Not that we expect to influence the Tennessee Firearms Association, er, we mean the Tennessee General Assembly (ha!), but we feel duty bound to report this latest example of drunken jackassery by one of America's proud, law-abiding handgun carry permit holders, this one from Ala-damn-bama. According to police, Antonio Reeves of Huntsville was threatening someone with a gun in Franklin Saturday night. He was caught in a vehicle with a fully loaded 9mm handgun along with four fully loaded magazines and charged with possessing a handgun while intoxicated. Guess he wasn't listening closely during his extensive gun safety training.
