The Associated Press adds it up and finds nearly 1,200 Tennesseans have had their handgun carry permits revoked or suspended for breaking laws over the past four years. The legislation sealing those records goes before the House Finance Committee tomorrow. ... Tennessee is one of only three states with women-majority Supreme Courts. Chief Justice Janice Holder on what this means to girls: "The message is they can be and do anything they want. If they want to be a Supreme Court judge, they feel they can do it." ... One out of every five minutes on the floor of the Tennessee House this year has been spent goofing off. ... Natural gas fee is criticized as a hidden tax. ... Sure, Forrester's wings are clipped a bit, but he can still fly. Without the boot of the establishment so firmly on his neck, he can build the grassroots into the force he believes they can be. If, that is, the grassroots keep believing in him.
