Democrats might as well have torched the flag right here at the legislature. The state Republican Party says they have disrespected our troops by voting down a bill to let them send in their absentee ballots on a fax machine. GOP flack Bill Hobbs:
"Democrats like to talk about supporting the troops, but today they insulted our troops by rejecting a commonsense proposal to make it easier for our brave men and women serving overseas to participate in our elections."
In 2008, eight states - California, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia - enacted legislation to authorize some form of electronic transmission to expedite the voting process and this year, according the NCSL, many states are considering legislation to incorporate electronic mail or online systems to assist military and overseas voters, the GOP reports helpfully.

The GOP, and it's supporters are talking too themselves when they invoke the pseudo patriotism rants about supporting troops. It's very weird, and scary. They are the only ones who are talking about flag burning, and weird "freedom" speeches.
Most democrats, unlike the GOP and it's power hungry supporters, live their lives and mind their own business. There isn't anything more free than that. It is the GOPers that are constipated, and remain sexless, until they can impose their morals into our private lives, through law.
Go tell it to the mountain, freeks!
