Where's that bipartisan spirit we've all come to love in the House? Brian Kelsey is so exasperating sometimes. GOP leader Glen Casada says "there is no room for disrespect, for making fun of people, for mocking people." That's right! To engage in mockery is beneath these fine statesmen. VW awards $147 million contract to Tennessee supplier. ... TVA seeks green power from the windy Midwest. ... According to the governor, the state is entertaining "serious inquiries" about an industrial megasite in West Tennessee. ... House votes to let local officials meet online. ... Rep. Gary Moore asks landowners whether they favor turning Bells Bend into a park. ... Guest columnist says the Moore/Henry bill "puts a dagger in the heart of our forefathers' treasured concept of private property rights, a core belief of those patriots who shed blood to forge our great nation." Is that all that's wrong with it?
