  • Lt. Govenor Ron Ramsey on his play date at the gun range
When they're not passing new bills about guns, dreaming about guns, or trying to have amorous relations with guns, the Tennessee legislature is playing with guns.

Yesterday, 75 elected officials headed to the range to shoot stuff with their hosts Hero-Gear and Barrett Firearms. While there's nothing wrong with a day at the range, should that many public officials be on a play date when there's work to be done?

After all, these are the same guys who've introduced approximately 287,436 new gun bills since January. Shouldn't they already be, like, experts on the matter? And while we hate to be picky, couldn't they just take one day to work on another issue, like maybe the economy or something?

I especially love this line ...
"Me explaining to Lt. Gov. Ramsey how ...this P90 is one bad MoFo!)"
I hope Ramsey and the rest of them enjoy their bad, MoFO toys at the expense of the thousands who die each year from them.

"At the expense"?
How so? Please explain what that nonsensical statement is supposed to mean.
How is this in anyway related to what criminals do with guns? Are we to believe that if there were pics of him hammering a nail, he would be doing so "at the expense of everyone that is" bludgeoned to death each year?
Do you have any stats on how many P90s are used in crimes in the US each year?
Those thousands of people that die each year, whoever "they" are, were not killed by people with permits to carry guns, or by 99.9999999999999% of legal gun owners.
You and most like you employ the logic of an 8th grader on this issue....at best.
Its pretty sad.
