Speaking of Pro-Life Wackos: Barack Obama Is "the Living Incarnation of the Glamour of Evil"

I can usually count on my Scene inbox for at least a couple of lunatic rants every day, and yesterday was no exception. Courtesy of Pastor Rick Scarborough, avowed Christ-ocrat and founder of Vision America, I received an email titled "Most Pro-Abortion President in History to Speak at Catholic University of Notre Dame," which lambasted Notre Dame for inviting President Obama to speak at the school's May 17 commencement ceremony. Scarborough prominently featured excerpts from Alan Keyes' unhinged ravings on his blog Loyal to Liberty last week:
Apparently the Catholic folks at Notre Dame University have no more respect for the Baptismal vows they renew every Easter than their invited Commencement Speaker this year has for the Presidential Oath of Office.
Oooh, zinggg! (More of Alan Keyes' (and my) crackpot ramblings, after the jump.)
At this moment in time, Barack Obama is the living incarnation of the glamour of evil. His smiley tones, and non-threatening manner, mask a studied commitment to the promotion of the most deadly form of evil in the world today--the cult of abortion centered on the ritual of child sacrifice. Obama has moved with impetuous determination to prove his claim to the mantle of High Priest of the Worldwide Abortion cult. With Executive orders, he has shifted the resources of the U.S. government behind the global implementation of abortion. He has declared open season on embryonic human life. He has appointed enthusiastic political and judicial acolytes of this cult of death to high positions in the Executive and Judicial branches.
To which Pastor Rick adds, "Dr. Keyes is dead on and I commend him for his bold and forthright declaration." "Ritual of child sacrifice"? "High Priest of the Worldwide Abortion cult"? Is Barack Obama donning a robe and meeting with a secret cabal in an underground cave, where children are being hacked with machetes in an orgy of bloodlust? (Obama birthers, don't answer.) I don't mean for a minute to suggest that all pro-lifers are wackos. Abortion is a difficult issue, and Lord knows there are plenty of wackos on both sides of the fence. But Keyes is so over-the-top that whatever tiny shred of credibility you may have once had is obliterated. (Oh, by the way, during his blog rant, he goes on to say, "In the literal sense therefore, Barack Obama is the incarnation of what the Catholic Church identifies as the epitome of evil in the world today," in case you didn't get his point in the first thousand words of his incoherent ramblings.)

Come on, fellas! He's the president, for Christ's sa...never mind. And didn't our glamorously evil prez invite noted pro-life, anti-gay Pastor Rick Warren to speak at his inauguration, much to the consternation of many Obama supporters? Can't we all just get along? Oh that's right, Mr. Keyes. (Sorry, Alan, I don't address Ph.D.s as "Dr.") You got your ass handed to you by Barack in the 2004 Illinois senate race (though it's scary to think that 27 percent of the electorate actually voted for such a madman). And your presidential bids have been so pathetic you make Dennis Kucinich look like a serious contender. Do I smell sour grapes?

Jack, I come here to read the lunatic rants. And, Alan Keyes never fails.
Ashley, I'll bring lasagna.
For fun, check out Birther Dentist/Lawyer Orly Taitz' letter to Chief Justice Roberts. She obviously did not have a good time in D.C. So, he must resign.

You folks in Tennessee have more fun with politics. I go to "The Rep's" blog every week or so.
