Though we in the red states like to trumpet our sense of Godliness and prudishness, we sure have a jones for fornication. A study printed in the scholarly Journal of Economic Perspectives found that eight of the top 10 online porn consuming states were red. The survey tracked credit card porn subscriptions from 2006-2008. Not surprisingly, those horn dogs in Utah locked up the No. 1 position. It's perhaps to be expected from followers of a religion whose founder declared, "God told me I should take as many wives as I possible, and it's okay if some of them are only 13." But among the Top 10, only the amoral blue states of Hawaii and Florida were able to break the conservative lock on going perv. Tennessee, weirdly enough, was found to be the least hypocritical in the Bible Belt, scoring the lowest porn consumption among Southern states. High level sources indicate our entire online billing can be traced to the laptop of Rep. Brian Kelsey (R-Germantown).

Not to let the facts get in the way of a good story, but the top ten states in porn subscriptions per home Internet user include Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, California, and Hawaii.

I thought so too when I looked at the study, because it's broken down in a number of ways, but if you look at the map part it's pretty clear.

I think the real story here is that only backwoods rubes still pay for porn online.

Hey Ashley, got any suggestions for sites for free online porn?

Well, the sidebar of your webpage is advertising a personal ad for someone named "gashtastic" - does that count or does the Scene still only run ads for paying sex customers?

Why you should get to know me: "I frequently get referred to as 'amazing.' I think I need someone to substantiate that claim." For $100 a half hour.
