Al Gore's New Book To Focus on Dangers Posed by ManBearPig

No, not really. Although if it did, that'd certainly make the above clip the most prescient in South Park history (and that's saying something).

The former Vice President, known to friends as the Goracle, announced today that Our Choice, due in November, will offer solutions to the threat of global warming. Think of it as the antidote to the virus he unleashed on an unsuspecting world with An Inconvenient Truth.

...Mr. Gore has led more than thirty "Solutions Summits" with top scientists, engineers and policy experts to examine every solution to the climate crisis in depth and detail. Our Choice draws on conclusions developed through those summits as well as on extensive independent research, describing how the bold choices necessary to save the earth's climate should also be the foundations of policies worldwide to create new jobs and stimulate sustainable economic progress.

Sounds like a brisk read, assuming you're an environmental policy wonk.

Loser:
Why would you use a clip of a CARTOON in a blog about such a serious issue as global warming. And what makes you think that just because Inconvenient Truth was so boring it actually stopped the hearts of several old people that Gore's book, our former VICE PRESIDENT who deserves the respect of some hack blog writer, would also be boring.
Jeez, get a life... and a real job.

"..announced today that Our Choice, due in November, will offer solutions to the threat of global warming."
I guess you didn't get the memo.
The phrase "global warming" is out now and has been replaced by "climate change" by the environmental wackos.
When predictions don't pan out, change the goalposts.

if there's a silver lining to the economic crisis, it would certainly have to be knocking some of the wind out of al gore's sails.
at this point, if you're one of the people eating what this guy is baking, you are just being willfully ignorant. to say al gore is full of shit is like saying a septic tank is full of shit.
