The stormwater amendment proposed by Sylvan Park councilman Jason Holleman is gaining more support. The addendum changes the stormwater fee structure so that big run-off producers like WalMart and Opryland pay their fair share.

Small business owners have already lined up in support. Now, via In Session, comes word that the powerful Crunchy Coalition have thrown their hat in the ring too: An official from Harpeth River Watershed Association sent an endorsement letter this morning to Mayor Dean and a few council members.

Council debates the bill at 4:30 this afternoon. Afterwards we'll have a better idea of how well Dean & Co. lobbied for their pet project.
