LenDale White's Valentine's Day was not like your Valentine's Day. Unless someone accused you of beating them with a belt in downtown Denver at 2:30 in the morning (in which case, we're sorry?).
According to a media release from Denver PD, the Tennessee Titans' running back was riding in a red Chevy Denali when it got into a minor accident with another car. Another man in the car with White got into an argument with the other driver that escalated into pushing and shoving. White then got out of the car and beat the man with his belt, causing a package of Hostess Sno Balls to fall out of his pants pocket (again,
allegedly).
The victim was taken to a Denver-area hospital and treated for lacerations. But a week later, the DA refused to press charges on account of some contradictory evidence. Someone, it seems, ain't tellin' the truth.
Neither the Titans' nor White offered comment. But when reached by phone, Coach Jeff Fisher admitted that fellow Titans' back Chris Johnson totally would've beaten the charges quicker.
