Naifeh Cast as 'Moral Ill' in Conservative Christian Video

Posted by Jeff Woods on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 5:15 AM

Check out this hysterically funny video promoting "Ministers Day on the Hill" by the Tennessee Family Action Council, David Fowler's evangelical Christian outfit. As Fowler narrates in the revolting, molasses-soaked voice of preachers and vacuum cleaner salesmen everywhere, the video cuts to former House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh. And Fowler says: "In a day and time when moral ills lie at the root of our cultural problems and families are falling apart, the presence of Christians is needed more than ever to be the conscience of the state. That is why the Family Action Council of Tennessee sponsors a special day once a year just for pastors. We call it Ministers Day on the Hill." The special day, by the way, is coming up on March 17. Among the speakers is somebody named Joe Dallas whose topic is "Understanding and Responding to the 'Gay Theology' Movement." An important message for us all.

All the gay citizens who were either avoided or blatantly turned away this week should show up again on "Ministers' Day" and see how many folks are being dismissed on that day.

This is what is wrong with our nation. Religion should not be mixed with politic.

Has Naifeh produced his long form birth certificate? How do we know his name isn't actually Jihadist and he was actually born in Yemen?
