The Grand Ol Party is sounding kida defeated one month into the term:
From WSMV on the vote making Naifeh Speaker Emeritus: "The measure passed on a voice vote, with only a handful of members making audible votes against the measure."
On Williams showing up at the GOP caucus:
"In all honesty, we've got to talk about it. I don't know what we're going to do. To be determined." They tossed him out of the Party but are at a loss when he shows up to caucus?
But hey, at least they've got the bowtie thing to get their spirits up.

I like Jimmy Naifeh, and I love to see the wingnuts in the Tennessee GOP get their noses rubbed in the cowpies, but I'd like to hear a damn good reason why he needs a staff significantly larger than nearly all house members. I'm sure his office team are good folks, and everyone needs a job, but can we get some reporting around whether or not he has a disproportionately large staff?
I love this guy! By the time he's finished, Obama will have secretly won Tennessee.

I put both feet in a heap of shit basically all the time, and here I am again. For the record, I have no interest in the vastness of the ex-speakers "staff."
But man, that's funny. I wish there was someone to be the butt of a funnier joke than me.
