Rush Limbaugh Praises GOP for Expelling Williams

In their never-ceasing efforts to turn their state House debacle into campaign cash, Republicans have gained a new ally: None other than El Rushbo himself. On his show, Limbaugh praised the party for expelling House Speaker Kent Williams this week, and the state GOP wasted little time turning that into a fundraising appeal. Here's what Limbaugh said:
"This is a great story, a great object lesson here. 'Tennessee Republicans got rid of the new House speaker from their party Monday. They did this while giving up their first chance in 150 years to control the entire Legislature, instead choosing to punish him for banding with Democrats to win his seat.' That means they got rid of the first majority controlled in 150 years because their House speaker was acting like a Democrat. That is amazing."

In its appeal, the party says: "Kent Williams chose to bargain away your principles for his personal gain. He chose the easy but unprincipled path. Principled leadership is hard and priceless. That is why we are working hard for you. Join us today and help us continue the journey."

It's funny how Rush paints this as an act of gallantry, as if they somehow willfully abdicated power due to principle.

It's amazing how they have duped themselves into believing that far right politics are electorally feasible. As long as lockstep party discipline is enforced, they think they just need to wait until the mythical pendulum swings their way, and they can go about their culture war and promoting massive transfer of wealth to the already wealthy.
It's gonna be a long time in the wilderness until they stop using terms like RINO and declaim any sort of government program as communism.

Far right conservative values may not be electorally feasible in this current age of "take care of me big brother." But when things just keep getting worse, thanks to the socialist Obama, the liberal fools that people congress, and the RINOs... there WILL be a turn around. Our conservative day will come, and this time, I hope we clean house and only elect true conservatives into power.

Play the "Right Wing-Nut" drinking game! Every time they use a cliché like "socialist", "Marxist", "communist", etc...
Take a shot!
Or maybe just a sip of beer...these zealots would have you half in the bag in 15 minutes otherwise.

It does seem funny that in the age of the Messiah Obama and the age of change, that the voters of the Great State of Tennessee decided to not vote for Obama and to throw the Democrats out of state office. In the face of their defeat, the Democrats were able to find a Judas who was willing to push the blade into the backs of his fellow Republicans and prove himself to be a dishonorable cheat and a liar especially to the voters of his district that thought they were electing a Republican. I would make the same assessment of the man were he a Democrat and had done the same to the Democrats since persons of his caliber are not to be trusted by friends nor enemies. Beware Democrats! Your dupe today may become your enemy if enough cash or power is offered to him. And DG, yes we have duped ourselves into thinking that right wing politics are electorally feasible because our beliefs are based on principals and not polls or the denial of a higher power. Once the socialistic far left gets through with this country, I just hope there is enough of it to save.
