Kotz / Sports Canadian Banker Considers Buying a Piece of the Nashville Predators

This story from the Calgary Herald is pretty speculative, but it seems a Canadian banker has a serious interest in buying a piece of the Predators. 
W. Brett Wilson already owns a piece of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx minor league baseball team, so would seem a semi-natural fit. But as the story notes, he's being wooed by 20 pro sports teams who either need a cash injection or are looking to sell. (I'm guessing this says something about the sporting economy.)
On the upside, his arrival would bring some Canadian passion to the Preds ownership group. On the downside, he has an initial for a first name, which may lead some to believe the Preds are actually bridge club from Green Hills.
