Hannan Alleged Homophobia Rounds Out MBA's Teen Hijinks Trifecta

First there was the allegedly-racist but more than likely just misunderstood "Hooked on Phonics." Then came the pretty-clearly anti-semitic "Jew-S-N." Now comes word of a third (and final?) MBA chant that's managed to ruffle feathers.
According to those in attendance, MBA's cheering section singled out an openly gay Ensworth student at their January 16th basketball game and chanted his name. Kind of menacing, no?
Ensworth's fans then responded by repeating the chant, in the spirit of We Got Your Back. The boy in question, incidentally enough, didn't actually play in the game. He was just audacious enough not to wait until college to come out of the closet. The horror!
MBA Headmaster Brad Gioia declined to comment. Which is probably just as well, since he's been busy putting out fires and doing the other million and one things it takes to keep a school running. So that's it. Some teenaged boys still think making fun of the gays is OK. Try not to be too upset over this stunning turn of events.
