Victim Alert: Rod Blagojevich Challenges Sarah Palin For League Lead

Just when we thought Sarah Palin was going to run away in January's Victim Standings for repeated bouts of public whining, in steps Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, a man not to be trifled with.

The Democratic
Blagojevich, soon to be an inmate at a federal prison near you, insists that he isn't the guy caught on tape trying to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat. He's actually the victim of a plot to raise taxes! "The heart and soul of this has been a struggle of me against the system," he announced last week.

Though he's short on details--like really short--the governor says he's being attacked by unnamed villains who want to raise taxes to cover his expansion of state health care programs. His rationale, of course, remains a rather long walk from reality, but that's the beauty of being a victim! It doesn't have to make sense!

Judges gave Blogojevich major points for unfettered bullshit, but believe he'll need to do a lot more whining to make up for Palin's pure volume.

Unlike this Blago dude, Sarah really does have legitimate points with her "victim" claims.
