Here's a distressing bit of news from the RNC chairmanship contest: Undecided RNC members are getting vicious emails flaying the reputations of five of the six candidates. But since the emails are from anonymous accounts, no one knows who's behind it. The guys under attack are Michael Steele, Katon Dawson, Saul Anuzis, Ken Blackwell and Mike Duncan. Let's see, who does that leave out? Oh yes, our very own Chip "the Magic Negro" Saltsman. Wait, you don't think he's sending those emails, do you?
Meanwhile,
the Moonie-owned Washington Times has produced this headline: "Some In GOP Fear Party Risks Being Seen 'As A Southern-Only Bloc.' " Now, that's a news flash. It seems that Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour and others are saying that maybe it's not such a great idea to pick an RNC chairman from the South. That's not good news for Chip or the other Southerners in the race, Duncan and Dawson.
