So I'm watching video of Obama's swearing-in over at Politico
a little while after it actually occurred, and up pops a "find local singles" ad overlaid right on top of the Lincoln Bible. Do the marketing folks at eharmony.com and Politico honestly think that someone watching the 60-second swearing-in video is angling to click through for some online date shopping? Is there no piece of civic theater that marketing types might regard as appropriately free of advertising? Just wondering.
