Politics / Woods Rep. Rowland Admits Having a Boyfriend

Yesterday before we were so rudely interrupted by one of the slickest political maneuvers in Tennessee history, we were discussing whether Republican Rep. Donna Rowland is shacking up with her boyfriend.
According to Republican leader Jason Mumpower, the allegations against Rowland--specifically that she lives outside her Murfreesboro district with her boyfriend--are false. "They are not pleasant, but they are false," he says. And Rowland has produced a letter of exoneration from her district attorney, William Whitesell.
"I have no evidence to indicate that Representative Donna Rowland's residence is other than in her voting district," Whitesell says in the letter.
As for her boyfriend, a blushing Rowland tells Pith, "I have a boyfriend. I date. I admit that I date. I have my residence and he has his residence." Glad we could clear up this matter.
