Eric Crafton has watched while English Only foes have pulled out all the stops to defeat his initiative. Yard signs, fliers, TV ads, robo-calls, door-to-door canvassing and now a daily media event
featuring various luminaries--whatever happened to the
Rope-a-Dope strategy? Now, Crafton is striking back with a radio ad.
From WPLN:It begins with strains of "America the Beautiful."
"America. One nation, under God, indivisible-until now." The ad goes on to say that English is "under attack" It cites
examples of government services in New York City being offered in
multiple languages, and presents the amendment as a way of preventing
the same thing from happening in Nashville.
We're assuming Crafton has received a new influx of cash from his buddy, t
he xenophobic nativist wacko John Tanton.
