This may look like veteran-journalist-turned-entrepreneur Carrie Ferguson Weir, but it's actually her fictional alter ego Carmen Miranda Remolino, a.k.a. "The Tornado." The American of Cuban descent and founder of Los Pollitos Dicen children's clothing company says--in a fluent-but-faux accent--she's "angry and sad about the short-sightedness and ugliness that the English Only proposition has brought out" in her adopted hometown.
Carrie, a.k.a. Carmen, says to vote "no y no," or be prepared to learn to order your food in Spanish.
