Antonio D. Harris, 21, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the West Nashville home invasionOne suspect has been arrested in the harrowing West Nashville home invasion that took a homeowner, his 19-year-old daughter and her boyfriend on a ride at gunpoint to two Green Hills ATMs. Antonio D. Harris, 21, was arrested earlier this week on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping. He is one of five suspects who allegedly entered through an unlocked door and robbed the victims of computer equipment and money in late November. When Harris and his accomplices were finished, they dropped the three off near Hillsboro High School. The homeowner penned
this compelling account himself.
The SUV the men took was recovered shortly after, driven by a teenager pulling into a driveway in the Edge Hill public housing development. The teen denied any involvement. Investigators are still searching for Harris' accomplices. Harris received a 7-year sentence for robbery in January 2005 and a 4-year sentence in March 2005 for two aggravated burglary convictions. He was paroled in June but got into trouble again for allegedly stealing cash from a safe where he worked at a Murfreesboro Road car wash. Davis was out on bond Nov. 16, only a couple of weeks before the home invasion took place.
