, it appears the donkey crowd in Tennessee won't be getting any immediate help on the celebrity front. Tim McGraw has been telling celeb reporters that he has no interest in running for governor
--at least for a decade or more.
McGraw has expressed interest in the job, but would prefer to wait until his kids get older and his career begins to burn a bit slower. Moreover, there's really no indication that he would make a good
governor. Though he holds the golden chalice of politics--name recognition--it's a beast of a management job that doesn't naturally segue from a career in music. Plus, he dresses a lot like a stripper at a gay bar.
But given the state of the Tennessee Democratic Party, he may be the best they have.
