Lincoln Davis and the Evangelical Vote

Posted By on Mon, Oct 27, 2008 at 10:14 AM

I'm not a religious person myself but I found this ad really compelling. I had been pretty much writing off Lincoln Davis as a candidate for governor. But now in my mind, he's much more viable. It’s clear that he won’t cede the evangelical vote to the Republicans. Evangelicals, especially younger ones, are supposed to be increasingly willing to vote for Democrats. They’re looking for candidates who believe faith should bear on governing. They don’t have to agree on all issues. This ad shows Davis can speak the language of religion. h/t Kleinheider
